About Happy Hambones Pet Sitting
Owner and Operator Christie Lynn Quinn,
is a native San Diegan, who has been fortunate enough to have spent
her early and adult years in beautiful San Diego. As a child growing
up in East County, Christie Lynn's family took advantage of the
opportunities country life had to offer. With 8 acres of land, it
opened up a world of opportunities for the young animal lover to
have and care for many different pets. Christie Lynn spent 8 years
in her local 4-H Club, where she was an active member raising everything
from hogs to horses, literally! Dairy goats, rabbits, sheep, dogs,
cats, ducks, pigs, you name it, and she befriended it. It was a
great way to spend a childhood and for her to gain a life long love
and passion for all creatures great and small.
Christie Lynn's equestrian experience grew from Western Pleasure
to Gymkhana where she participated as member of the East County
Gymkhana Association. Her family owning two to four horses at any
given time gave Christie Lynn the experience with feeding, exercise,
lunging, ground work, riding, grooming, and taught her the important
lesson of discipline. In those influential years Christie Lynn discovered
her love and dedication to pets, and it has continued through to
this day.
After college Christie Lynn entered the legal field where she worked
for 15 years. She made her home in the coastal area of San Diego
and quickly learned that being away from the "farm" did not mean
she had to do without her pets. Cats, dogs, a horse, along with
a tortoise and pet turkey, Christie Lynn has continued to maintain
a strong relationship with animals of all kinds.
In 2003, Christie Lynn started Happy Hambones Pet Sitting with the
hope of providing quality care and service at an affordable price.
Named after their late yellow Labrador, Hambone, Happy Hambones
Pet Sitting is made up of a small crew of finely screened employees,
which consist mostly of personal friends and family, and most importantly
individuals who share the same love of animals. Happy Hambones provides
the quality care and the security that you are looking for. With
team members located throughout Summit County, Happy Hambones Pet
Sitting provides a way to keep costs down and provide exceptional
care and service.
